The highest figure for 17 years was only surpassed in 1998 . 38 % of the visitors were visiting groups and conferences , talks or the openings of exhibitions , while the remaining 62 % were individuals . Of these , 25 % were foreign ( 5,664 people ) mostly from the EU . Visitors can now access with key information panels translated by volunteers of the Amics association of the Museum .
