An exhibition of cars and classic
motorcycles collected more than
10,000 euros in funds towards
volunteers in fire fighting
The event was held at the Via
Augusta with the display of luxury vehicles and different performances and recreational activities
The 10,000 euros that will be
used to replace the entire damaged by fires last September. The
exhibition of classic cars and Harley Davidson included a parade of
more than 170 motorcycles.
The event organisers collaborated with the Department of Citizen
Participation, directed by Montse Villaverde. In addition, several other councillors attended the
event and the mayor of Javea, José
Chulvi, expressed his satisfaction
“at the outcome of the day which
proves, once again, the strength of
the community and we people of
85 different nationalities who live
in Xàbia”. Activities included selling calendars, the Red Cross, and
sweatshirts and opportunities to
explore the classic cars.
