donate 3,500€ to
Alberto’s Fund
After many months of fundraising, special events,
sponsored walks, raffles etc. organised by private
sponsors and other charities, the Original Charity
Shop and Library are happy to announce the donation of 3,500€ which completes the amount needed
for Alberto’s Fund.
The Fund was set up last year in an effort to raise
enough money for Alberto’s family to purchase a
much needed adapted vehicle to transport their son
to hospital appointments, therapy sessions, school
etc.
Ten year old Alberto suffers from a severe neuro-muscular condition and has no control over his
body so he is completely dependent on his Mum,
Jessica.
However, lifting him and the wheelchair in and out
of the car was becoming impossible. Jessica wishes
to express her most sincere thanks to everyone who
went the extra mile to raise the necessary funds to
make her dream of an adapted vehicle become a
reality.
