Another major improvement we will have
this summer is the installation (finally!) of a
medical consulting office on the Arenal. It is
a summer facility which we have fought for,
for a long time and in the coming weeks, it
will become a reality.
We have also launched an information
campaign to educate our residents that the
fight against the tiger mosquito is everyone's
responsibility. With small actions, we can
achieve great results without having to
launch poisonous sprays indiscriminately, or
endangering other species.
And ahead of the new season, Xàbia's Town
Hall has approved an investment of one
million euros for improvement works in our
town.
With that money we will repair pavements, we
will re-asphalt roads, renovate bridges, finish
off the works on Avenida Jaume I, improve
energy efficiency, etc. I am convinced that
these are important actions that determine the
quality of life in a town and are therefore a
priority for us.
