1. Picnic season - keep sauces and liquids safe from spillage by using
two layers of cling film underneath the lid before you put it on.
2. Make new covers for sunbed mattresses from old duvet covers or
curtains. Stich them in the style of an envelope pillowcase.
3. Going away and need to know if the freezer has been off for any
length of time. Place an ice cube on a saucer in the freezer, if it’s still a
cube then all is well.
4. Use cheap liquid make up on your legs to cover up mosquito
bites and little veins.
5. Make a list of all your possessions that you value, make a
copy for each child and ask them to choose items alternately.
This saves a lot of stress and possible argument
after you have died.
