Stephanie Jane
Rampton
Born the UK Stephanie obtained
a degree in Art and Design in
England in the late seventies.
After a year in New York
and many years teaching in
Hong Kong she relocated to
Melbourne in 1997.
Her interest in etching was
sparked by workshops at the
Australian Print Workshop and
the National Art School. She
has since been in numerous
group exhibitions (including
in
Barcelona)
in
Europe,
Australia and the Far East
and has held several solo
shows. Highly commended in
the 2013 Waterhouse natural
Science Art Prize, with the work
subsequently exhibited at the
National Archives, Stephanie
was selected for the 2015
Burnie Print Prize.
Represented by Port Jackson
Press, Melbourne, her work
is held by the Australian Print
Workshop, The National Gallery
of Australia, The Brooklyn Arts
Library and the Australian
Consul General to Guangzhou.
