Xàbia hosts a conference of coordination between Fire, Local
Police and Civil Guard
In the work of control and firefighting coordination everyone in the security forces involved
must know and be clear about the rules. For this
reason, the Casa de Cultura hosted an info day
given by the Chief of the Fire Station in Dénia,
Sgt Javier Fayos. The event was also attended
by the Councillor for Safety from Javea Town
Hall, Pepa Gisbert, and the local police chief,
Jose Antonio Monfort, and a large group of local
police officers, Civil Guard and Fire. The presentation covered the most frequent situations in
fire fighting: urban fires, prior to the arrival of
firefighters, gas leaks, fires and coordination between law enforcement actions. This type of action plan is intended to make all the teams more
effective not only in extinguishing fires but also
in Fire prevention response.
