RENTALS) PLATFORM, whose purpose is to defend this type of accommodation.

In the light of the imminent regulation by the Government of Valencia of holiday rentals, the members of this platform
demand that:
1. The future Tourism Act must be written in clear, simple and precise language with the sole purpose of
facilitating compliance by owners.
2. The law must define rental of homes for tourism, holidays or leisure, and rental through any marketing
channel of one or more properties by persons or legal entities that comply with the following requirements:
Registration in the Public Registry of the capacity of the dwelling and consent to disclose this
information to the Tax Authorities.
A requirement to include the registration number in all advertising.
The property must have an occupation licence or the document that replaces it.
The property must be covered by public liability insurance.
There must be a floor plan showing evacuation routes alongside the door of the property.
The property must provide a list of emergency telephone numbers and a tourist customer services
number.
The police must be notified of the arrival-departure of visitors.
3. The government must provide control mechanisms to facilitate compliance with tax requirements applicable to
income generated by this activity.
4. The law must include measures for evicting occupants who behave unacceptably and/or disturb the
neighbours.
