Spring at Last!
The Blossom is almost over and the Town is
starting to fill with its late Spring and Summer
visitors. A lot of roadworks are being rushed
through before the Summer trade builds up,
so there are parking restrictions in a variety of
places across the Town, Port and Arenal. You
might want to allow a little extra time
for parking, if you aren’t using any of the very
empty and cheap municipal car parks.
As you can see from the cover we are
now entering the fire risk season - the quick
reaction of the bomberos put this valley fire
out very quickly - but please be aware and
take care.
The In/Out debate continues to depress,
whichever side of the debate is discussed - so,
if you have still got a vote we hope that you
have set up your proxy or postal vote so that
you can have your say. Registered overseas
voters will be able to vote in the upcoming
referendum on the UK’s membership of the
European Union on Thursday 23 June 2016.
Overseas voters should apply to register to
vote by 16 May 2016. Please see the EU vote
article on Page 14.
