In June of 2015, Inter Media Japan was invited to be part of an exclusive media trip
organized by newspaper publisher China Daily. During the trip, a team of media from
around the world experienced first-hand the opportunities Weifang City had to offer.

ー が主催した報道機関向け特別内覧ツアーに招待され、世界各国の記者らと共
に、濰坊市を直接視察する機会を得た。

ver the last 30 years, China has
become an unprecedented economic
powerhouse, from it emerged countless
business conglomerates and infrastructures
that took China’s economic competitors
centuries to create. China’s commitment to
fully entering the global stage became even
more apparent in recent years: in 2014 alone,
48% of China’s gross domestic profit (GDP) was
dedicated to domestic and foreign investment,
making it the fifth largest investor county in
terms of proportion of GDP invested and the
largest overall monetary investor in the world.
Given its immense size and its dedication to
growth and globalization, it is undeniable that
China is headed to the forefront of the global
market. Accordingly, many investors turn to
China for the vast number of opportunities it
has to offer, particularly to those seeking to
contribute to the momentum of technological
advancements; however, China also has
plenty to offer outside of the investment
sector. As a country with one of the most
ancient, profoundly rich cultures in the
world, a number of well-maintained historical
monuments, and endless antique discoveries
yet to be made, China undoubtedly provides an
enticing combination of the charm of antiquity
and the magnetism of economic potential.
One of China’s largest expeditions so far has
been the economic expansion of the mainland
provinces to more resemble commercially
powerful, but overly congested areas like
Beijing and Shanghai: one of said expeditions
is occurring in Shandong Province. The second
most populated province in China, Shandong
is currently one of the epicenters of China’s
technological industrialization movement.
Additionally, Shandong is one of China’s many
culture hubs; a number of ancient artifacts and
castles can still be found in the area. A province

of great promise, Shandong is steadily drawing
in both investors and high culture enthusiasts
from around the globe.

これによ
り中国は、対GDP投資比率で世界5位、金融投資総
額では世界1位に躍り出ました。
その莫大な投資額
に加え、経済成長とグローバル化にかける意気込み
の強さから見て、
中国が世界市場の第一線を目指し
ていることは間違いありません。
それに応じて、多く
の投資家が中国にさまざまな機会を求めて集まって
おり、
その中でも勢いのある技術革新分野への投資
が盛んになっています。
しかし、
中国には投資セクタ
ー以外にも多くの機会があります。世界有数の歴史
と豊かな文化を誇り、
数々の歴史的記念物が保存さ
れ、今なお貴重な古美術品の発見が続く中国では、
歴史遺産の魅力と経済的な誘因力が間違いなく魅
惑的なコンビネーションを生み出しています。
中国が
これまで行ってきた中で最大の革新的政策 の1つ
が、本土の各省を経済発展させ、過密状態となって
いる北京や上海などの大都市のような商業都市を
創出することです。
こうした政策が実施されている例
を、
山東省で見ることができます。
山東省は中国で2
番目に人口の多い省で、今まさに技術産業化の中心
地となっているだけでなく、中国文化の拠点のひと
つでもあります。
まだ発掘されていない歴史的遺物
や城跡が山東省には多数あるのです。大きな発展の
可能性を約束された山東省には、
世界中から投資家
と文化人の注目が着実に集まっています。
