BOEHRINGER INGELHEIM STALLION SHOOTOUT
The Boehringer Ingelheim Stallion Shootout saw 45 performed stallions with progeny in the 2018 Classic Sale strut their stuff and compete for a shot at the $ 10,000 cash pool , a commissioned portrait donated by Fine Art and Ceramics by Sophie Sorella , Eddie Fisher trophy buckle , Easy-On trophy rug and this year the AQHA will award $ 1,000 cash to the highest placed Australian Quarter Horse stallion .
Two competitors both marked scores of 91 points each , Terry Hall on Ben Hill ' s , Hazelwood Mantic A2- 3084 , and Tony Mortimer on his imported son of A Chic In Time USA- 3195597 and Uno What Weeno USA- 360501 , Timed And Tuned Q-72561 .
Round Three saw the event earned by Terry Hall running the Ben Hills owned Hazelwood Mantic A2-3084 , who scored two super 22.5 each from judges Tony Hick and Jock Weston for a blistering final score of 202.5 points to earn the Champion title .
AELEC BAR DASH FOR CASH GELDING INCENTIVE
The top ten geldings after two rounds of the Classic Campdraft then returned for the $ 5,000 AELEC Bar Dash for Cash Gelding Incentive .
Three brilliant combinations ran 88 ' s and there was an exciting run off for the $ 2,000 winners cheque between current Classic leader Ben Hall on Ken Frost ' s Secret Time , Laine Bennett on Peter and Joyce Todkill ' s KP Hydrive Finn and Will Durkin on his Bonlac Gigolo gelding Lealukas Call Me , who put one round for another 88 and the AELEC Bar Dash for Cash champion title .
2018 MAVERICKS WESTERN WEAR MASTERS CAMPDRAFT FINAL
Earning the Mavericks Western Wear Masters Campdraft Champion title was Noel Chiconi riding QXH Dual N Rooster . Noel Chiconi had led the way into the final aboard QXH Dual N Rooster on an 89 and added an 88 to be named as the Champions .
2018 CHARLIE MAHER MEMORIAL YOUNG GUNS FINAL
2018 Young Guns Champions are Bradley Buttsworth and One Moore Syndicates , One Stylish Pepto Q-54631 . An exceptional red roan son of the world renown imported sire Peptos Stylish Oak Q-39269 and the multiple Hall Of Fame inducted One Moore Spin Q-24600 . Together they marked a super massive score
of 91 to add to their incredible 92 point score to take the title . Also winning the AQHA $ 500 cash incentive
2018 MARTINS STOCK HAULAGE OPEN CAMPDRAFT FINAL
Corey and Trudy Holden ' s stallion Reys Ya Garter Q-59611 , with Hugh Miles aboard was named as the Martins Haulage Open Campdraft Champion .
Together they marked another 90 ( adding to their aggregate score of 179 ) to earn the prestigious title . " We came up to Landmark this year just to watch Hugh Miles ride him in the Open and Stallion Draft as we didn ' t make Warwick and we truly enjoy coming just to watch ," says Trudy Holden after Reys Ya Garter ' s awesome win . She continues , " We still can ' t believe they won . It was so amazing and exciting ."
When asked , what did you think of his runs at Landmark ? Trudy replied , " He is a horse that truly loves to give you 110 % every single time , he loves his job . For a horse that hasn ' t been doing it as long as

others , we are amazed at how he ' s become so comfortable in the sport of campdrafting . We love to watch him run ."
2018 LANDMARK CLASSIC CAMPDRAFT FINAL
The Landmark Classic Campdraft is an event for horses who are aged five or under and purchased from a previous Landmark Classic Select Sale . They compete for a share in a cash and prize earnings valued over $ 120,000 - including the $ 40,000 winners cheque , which stands as the largest campdraft winners purse in the country . Being named as the 2018 Landmark Classic Campdraft Champions was Ben Hall riding Ken Frosts “ Secret Time , owned by Ken Frost , after marking a jaw dropping 89 points to their already blistering scores of 91 in the go rounds .
AQHA $ 1,000 cash incentive went to Darrin Jones , Players Garter Q-78042 .
2018 LANDMARK CLASSIC SELECT SALE
The 2018 Landmark Classic Select Sale average price was a smashing record $ 15,034 , with 491 of the 569 lots sold for an outstandingly high clearance rate of 86 per cent , including 273 mares , 27 stallions and 191 geldings .
While last years record sale price of $ 210,000 for the then two year old colt , One Moore Metallic A2-3067 , sold to C W REA Investments PTY LTD , wasn ' t reached . The two year old colt Yaven Spinacat made the second highest price bid of the Landmark Classic Select Sale of $ 130,000 . The outstanding young colt was sold by John and Jen Corbett to Hughes Pastoral in Queensland .
Both of these horses were presented by Rob Leach of Tamworth , New South Wales . The Metallic Cat ( IS ) Q-72828 ) colt , One Moore Metallic was sold for vendor R & R Livestock . Rob commented on the history and background of One Moore Metallic , " One Moore Metallic was bred and raised by Russ Bradley in South East Victoria . Russ bought his mother " One Moore Diva " A1-10444 after she ' d been through the ( NCHA ) Futurity with Graham Amos where she finished third . After he bought her , she went on to have a successful campdrafting career in the capable hands of Tom Williamson . Russ bred the mare to Metallic Cat ( Q-72828 ) with the result being the roan colt . As a long yearling he was broken in by Bruce O ' Dell before having a spell then Russ made the decision to send him to us to start on cattle ."
Day Six of the Landmark Classic saw the first day of the 2018 Landmark Classic Select Sale with an outstanding 163 open aged horses come through the ring . Two exceptional mares topped Day One and were sold for an impressive $ 70,000 each .
