We get to be a part of some amazing farewell celebrations and an insight into some amazing people and their life ’ s journey .
. Are you on acreage and have your horse / s with you ? We live on a beautiful 20 acre property with my parents , set up with a lovely indoor and outdoor arena , 13 stables , a hot wash and five star accommodation for the horses . The horses have better living facilities than us !!!!!
. What are the names of your horse / s now ? I have two horses , Designed by the Prophet , a four old that I have just started riding western classes on , and HL Theodore that I do the non-traditional events on . My daughter also has My Deliberate Breeze that I occasionally ride and we have just been blessed and are now leasing the amazing Annlee Wait N Cee from Annie Boyd .

. When did you commence riding ? When I was 7 years old when I first started riding . I loved it , I have never looked back ..
. What was your first horse ’ s name and what breed was it ? TONTO - my uncle who at the time bought a gorgeous Cremello two year old colt , not what you ’ d normally buy for a kid to learn how to ride . He was gelded and broken in by his brother and given to me . He was the quietest sweetest pony that went onto my cousin and many of our friends ’ kids to teach them how to ride . I could not have asked for a better first pony .
. What attracted you to the Quarter Horse ? My cousin had a Quarter Horse when we were growing up called Remus that was an amazing jumper , and all rounder and I remember growing up in the era when Colleen Brook rode a Quarter Horse called Rebound that was amazing . I have always loved their versatility and look . We have always had show ponies and competed to Royal Show level . We had some great wins , but after I had my first child I struggled with my weight , and riding ponies was not an option . A friend sent a Campdrafter to me to get me back riding and that was the start of my love affair with Quarter Horses - his name was Rocky ( BPS STAGE ONE ). He came to me to be worked and sold , and needless to say I fell in love with his beautiful calm nature and kind soul and he never left the property .
. What attracted you to the English side of the Western world ? After purchasing Rocky , friends invited me to a western show , as they had ridden him and he had some training . I enjoyed it , but he was too quick legged to go through the ranks and after some attempt at Western , good friend Liz Keating suggested that attempting the non-traditional events might be the way to go . She wasn ’ t wrong ; we took out many State , National , Australian Hi Points in Dressage and Hacking , along with three Senior Horse Hi Points at the National Show . I think it was a good decision and I have never looked back .
. What events do you ride in now ? This year I have attempted once again to master Western
