The Chiron Sport’s adaptive dampers now get 10 percent stiffer when the car is in Handling mode. That gives you better handling when you want it, without compromising ride comfort in softer set- tings. Handling mode also firms up the steering effort. The Sport doesn’t get any power increase, but with 1479 horsepower, you probably won’t miss it. All of the Chiron Sport’s driving modes benefit from a new torque-vectoring system on the rear axle, which should help the car navigate tighter corners. The Sport’s 40 pounds of weight savings come from new, lighter wheels and more extensive use of carbon fiber throughout. This Chiron even features carbon-fiber windshield wiper arms, a production car first. 63
