It was announced on the 22nd February that Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis will be inducted into the Songwriters Hall of Fame on the 15th June. To date, they have written a total of 16 number ones, and Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis have more chart-toppers than any other songwriting and production team in pop history. Many 0f these have been with none other than Janet Jackson. They’ve also achieved the rare feat of having written and produced number one hits in three consecutive decades: the 1980s, 1990s, and 2000s.
