Tata Hitachi: ChaloDeshBanaye : Building the India
of tomorrow
A joint venture between Tata Motors Limited (40 %) and
Hitachi Construction Machinery Company Limited (60 %)
This year, Tata Hitachi‘s stall theme showcased the company’s
commitment to the theme of ChaloDeshBanaye .
The launchesat the Tata Hitachi booth included
• ZAXIS140H: the latest addition to the GI series, promising
unbeatable performance
• Thequarry variantof EX210 Super – with a heavy duty
track chain, rollers, idler and re enforced bucket and front
attachment links
• EX210 Super with an indigenous super long front
attachment, re designed and strengthened to suit Indian
conditions.
• Keeping pace with technology, Tata Hitachi launched
INSITE – a new telematics suite for the EX series of
hydraulic excavators and wheeled products. Armed with
a GPRS based remote machine monitoring application,
INSITE helps the customer view machine location and
operation through alerts.
Launches apart, the high point of the Tata Hitachi stall
was the display of theZH200 – a revolutionary hydraulic
excavator armed with hybrid technology. A testimony to
the technological prowess of Hitachi, Japan, this excavator
from Hitachi is the first to introduce the revolutionary
hybrid technology into Hydraulic Excavators. This excavator
incorporates advanced technologies adopted from hydraulic,
electric and battery-powered excavators.
Added attractions were Tata Hitachi’s Service Vehicle, the
operator training simulator, the display of a wide range of
customized attachments addressing specific customer needs
and genuine Tata Hitachi spare parts.
ZF participated in EXCON 2017
year at EXCON, ZF showcasedits Ecomix II (CML 12), new
transmission for transit mixer vehicles up to 12 cubic meter
capacity.
Electric drives
ZF eTRAC GPE 25 is a drive system for compact off-highway
vehicles, trailers and auxiliary equipment. The well-proven
ZF driveline system for electric forklifts is now optimized
and available for compact equipment. Additionally driveline
technology for material handling and electrical pallet trucks
were displayed at the ZF booth.
ZF Friedrichshafen AG, a global leader in driveline and chassis
technology as well as active and passive safety technology,
participated in EXCON 2017
ZF showcased construction machinery systems, chassis
components, latest mixer drive technology and electric drives
for Off-Highway applications.

ZF has strong technical expertise & depth in developing and
producing drives and axles for construction machinery. This

Ride comfort in commercial vehicles is considerably enhanced
by suspension technology and cabin damping. At the booth on
display was the ZF cab dampers which provide greater safety,
comfort, and stability. Additionally, there were products on
suspension technology like torque rods, ball joints, axial tie
rods which were on display.
EXCON, an international construction equipment and
construction technology trade fair, is a bi-annual event
organized by the Confederation of India Industry (CII).
Currently in its 9th Edition, the International Construction
Equipment and Technology Trade Fair is backed by the Indian
Construction Equipment Manufacturers Association (ICEMA)
as Sector Partner for the event.
