Would you say singing and acting are equal for you?

Absolutely! I can’t imagine my life without one or the other. The difference really is that in acting I bring the writers vision to life whereas with music I'm bringing my authentic self to life.

Who’s your favorite artist that you’re listening to at the moment?

Ella Mai, Khalid, Kehlani and Sza. I can’t pick just one!!

What is the most challenging thing, or something you’ve found difficult?

Definitely shifting countries to pursue my dream. It was frightening and exciting all at the same time. I’ve also found it challenging to initially get people to take me seriously in the industry because of my age. It took a while to build up the courage to speak up in meetings because I’m so young. I have an amazing team around me who have helped me find my voice and who allow me to creatively direct everything.

Who was your inspiration growing up?

I was raised with a lot of classic films and music so my inspirations were Elvis and Frank Sinatra as well as Beyonce and anything from "Glee"! I’m not ashamed to admit that I was obsessed with "Glee". I have binged watched everything with Lucille Ball.

What are you working on at the moment?

An EP is currently in the works which I’m hyped about and it’s something a little different for you all. I have a holiday movie coming out in December that I can’t wait for my fans to see and I’m also modeling in several upcoming campaigns that I shoot right after I return from my Australian tour.

You’re known for your red theme on Instagram – how did that come around?

I was kind of obsessing over the color red in the summer and I found myself feeling powerful every time I wore it. I noticed when I posted a photo wearing red it created a lot of activity so it kind of stuck from there.

Talking about red, what's your favourite fall lip color at the moment?

I’m a total nude gloss girl throughout all of the seasons. I tend to go a little heavier on my eyes so I find the nude shades balance it out.
