Bieber recieved a lot of criticism for cultural appropriation when he showed up to the iHeartRadio awards looking like, well, this. The Baby singer, however, quickly defended his new do: “[People say] you wanna be black and all that stuff, I’m like ‘its just my hair’,” he told Big Sean after his performance.
The Biebs opted for a more lived-in version of the pompadour style he rocked back in 2012 with this imperfect combed-back do.
Bieber was so over his long hair towards the end of 2016 and revealed a short new do in a slightly darker hue.
By 2017, Bieber was feeling a little nostalgic, stepping out in a bangs-forward hairstyle that reminded us of his beloved hair flip.
