So Tell us about Nickelodeons new series “Knight Squad?”
Knight Squad is definitely a show filled with tons of magic, sword fighting, mythical creatures, and lots of laughs. It takes you through the everyday life of these knight school students who are on their way to becoming the future knights of Astoria. In our show, two mismatched students form an unlikely alliance to protect each other's secrets, and the audience will, of course, be in on these adventurous secrets.
Tell us about your character Sage?
My character Sage is certainly mean, mischievous, and clever. Sage's biggest dream is to become a knight and she makes it very clear that she will let nothing or no one stand in her way. Even though she may have a very cold personality, her bubbly best friend Buttercup has a special place in her heart.
How was playing a character of a witch?
Sage is not a witch on the show, but if you'd like to know a fun little fact that not many know, then let me tell you about the early stage of my character. During the audition process, Sage actually did have magic and was considered a bit of a sorceress. She was also a LOT more evil!
Favorite thing about Sage?
If there's something that I love about Sage, it's definitely how hard she works to achieve her goals. Even though Sage is a little evil, she always stays true to the Knight's Code. This means she never cheats, protects her squad-mates, and even though she doesn't like to show her good side too often, she definitely has a couple heroic moments. I also think the audience will love how much of a loyal friend she is to Buttercup.
What are you planning to do next? What kinds of roles are you interested in?
For now, I plan to keep on getting to know my character Sage. I'm hoping to keep working hard to have my clothing collection grow, and also to explore other acting opportunities. I'm definitely interested in all sorts of roles and I love getting to play those that really challenge you. I do have to say that my favorite type of roles are the bad/evil ones. I feel like those types of roles give you so much to work with and really let you create someone new and unpredictable. I've always been curious as to what goes on in the minds of those types of characters.
I make playlists for, pretty much, every one of my moods and love sharing them with my friends and fans!
