Since your debut single came out your life has certainly changed! What keeps you keep going and keeps your making music?
Music is my number 1 passion and form of expression. I would make music even if it wasn't my career choice but thankfully it is. My loved ones keep me going, my drive keeps me going, my desire to be GREAT keeps me going. I'm never satisfied always trying to get better and be greater.
What inspires you when writing music?
Everything. Things happening in my life, things happening in the world, friends, family, break ups, heart break, feeling love. I find inspiration in everything.
You have over 400k followers on Instagram! How do you keep up with your fans online?
I always try to respond to everyone as much as I can. I try to be as reachable as possible to my fans. It's a beautiful way to connect with them so I love it!
Tell about your upcoming projects!
New music, new films, performances! I've been working on a lot of new things and I can't wait to share it all.
Who did you look up to when you were growing up?
My mom. She's my everything.
What artists are you listening to at the moment?
Hmmm... myself :) The Weeknd a lot lately, Amy Winehouse a lot lately, but there are some new artists out like Gallant whom I love. I always listen to Top 40 to see what hot new records are out so I can see what the competition is like. I study a lot of different genres though. For song writing purposes, I have been listening to a lot of country music.
What has been the biggest moment in your music career so far?
Probably getting my first official single to #10 on the billboard dance charts. Now I want a #1 smash hit on top 40. That's my next goal.
What are your goals for 2017?
Get a #1 hit! Continue taking over the game, doing what I love with who I love. Getting back on tour, etc!
Do you have a celebrity crush at the moment?
Hmmmmm ... I don't really know honestly. People are always different when you meet them.
