JAMO COVER STAR
FA: Which genre is your favorite in books and
why?
LB: I am a big reader. I read everything, but
I definitely love fantasy. Reading fantastical
books is the best for me because it transports
you to this whole new world, and it’s basically
an escape!
FA: What was the first book you read that
inspired you to be an author?
LB: I read a book called Before I Fall, and it
was just so beautifully written. It also had a
wonderful message and left an emotional im-
pact on me. Right after that, I read Pretty Lit-
tle Liars, which is so amazingly told, and the
characters felt so real. I was in awe of Sara
Shepard. I realized that I wanted to be able to
do that to people, so I started writing!
FA: In which area would you like to improve
as an actress and why?
LB: Overall, I think as an actor you can never
stop improving (unless you’re Meryl Streep),
but I always have an issue with bringing emo-
tional scenes home with me after work. Say
I’m crying or yelling in a scene- it takes me
a while to snap back out of this sad or angry
state, which isn’t always the best for my poor
family. It’s tough emotionally.
more times than I can admit (My mother will
read this!)
FA: What’s the weirdest thing a fan has ever
done for you?
LB:This is more sweet than weird, but one
time someone wanted to get a tattoo of my
handwriting!! I kept telling them that my
handwriting was awful and would be feel so
bad with that being a permanent part of them!
FA: Tell me about your organization Positive-
ly Social?
LB: How did you come up with the idea? Well,
a few friends and I had been experiencing
some really horrible cyber bullying, and saw
others experiencing it as well. It was happen-
ing to both my friends with big followings and
my friends with small accounts. It’s a univer-
sal problem these days. We wanted to help
and make a difference...even if it was just with
a few people. However, since we are lucky
enough to have these platforms, we wanted
to use them to help. Social media is so new
to people, that very few know how to use it
responsibly, so our mission it to teach people
how to also use it for good!
FA: What are your new year resolutions for
the year 2019?
LB: I definitely want to eat healthier and try
new foods! That’s all I’ve got for now!
FA: Is ‘Autumn’ your favorite role to play?
LB: Yes, I love playing her for so many rea-
sons. She’s such a complex character, and it’s
been so much fun getting to explore her layers.
She’s always got these awesome one liners and
is much sassier than I am, so I love getting to
deliver those lines. On the other hand, she gets
given these really emotional scenes in season
two and getting to do those was also fun in its
own way! FA: What are the five facts about Lilia that
people don’t know?
LB: Well I love to bake! When I was four, I
wore the same dress every day for 6 months
(don’t worry we washed it!). I can’t do makeup
or hair to save my life. I just learned how to
drive! I love karaoke.
FA: Who is your favorite singer or musician,
and why?
LB: I honestly love Queen. I grew up listening
to them with my dad, and I’ve never grown
out of their music. I literally love all of their
songs and have seen Bohemian Rhapsody FA: What is your message to our readers and
your fans?
LB: Continue striving to be yourself and
spread as much love as possible! And thank
you for your support. It keeps me going every
day!
