FA: First of all what’s the inspirations
behind the name “ Star Struck”?
SL: Well I come up with the name and i
always felt like if a women were to walk
into a room, she want people to feel star
Struck
FA: Definitely
SL: So that’s what it came from and its
just as simple as that.
FA: If you could choose one product from
star Struck that is your absolute favorite
what would it be?
SL: One favorite, it would probably be
Cherry Bomb, Which is the red color, oh
here it is. So this is it.
FA: Oh I love that color!
SL: Yeah and its really pretty and it’s one
of my favorite.
FA: Awesome! and what can we expect
to see in the future from Star Struck?
SL: We have a whole shimmer line that
we released for the holiday season and
that one will be released here really soon
and its already released in India and now
it will reach here as well and then we
have a whole eyeliner kit, like eyeliner,
mascara and eyebrow pencil and I pack-
age them all together and created the
packaging so that a women doesn’t need
to go and buy an extra utensil to be able
to put it in her bag. I ultimately,
FA: Like all in one kit.
SL: yeah i love the idea of creating a five
minute makeup kit so I have been trying
to find the right tools and right things
so that if a women were to buy, let’s say
Lip Gloss you know or a lipstick , a lin-
er, eyeliner, eyebrow pencil or a mascara
and then hopefully few different founda-
tions that you know, we are gonna create
as well. that should be able to create to
do their makeup within five minutes and
I think about women who’s a working
women and a mom.

FA: A kit for on the go.
SL: A mom taking her kid to school, let
me tell you, she has no time at all to do
her makeup most of the time. So when
i creating this, i’m trying to create for
someone who is on the go and just wants
really good product that will last and you
don’t have to reapply every five minutes
(Laughs).
