his family's movable and immovable assets worth 4.14 crores.
Azad, has movable assets worth
Rs 57,92,733 and immovable
assets of about Rs 70 lakh. In contrast his wife has movable assets
worth Rs 1,49,91,472 and immovable assets worth Rs 1.20 crore
and their daughter Sofiya Azad has

16,05,385.
As per the I-T returns, the minister's total income in 2012-13 was
Rs 8,21,110, while those of his wife
and daughter were Rs 7,23,300
and Rs 6,01,880 respectively.
Azad also has Rs 20,000 in cash
while his wife has Rs 5 lakh and
daughter Rs 10,000. Shamima
also owns jewellery worth Rs
10,26,000.

N the long list of assets Azad declared
that on July 5, 1994 he had acquired
2.5 acres of agricultural piece of land in
Washim district of Vidharbha in
Maharashtra by sale deed under survey no
461.
Significantly Azad who had contested
2006 by polls in Jammu and Kashmir and
later Assembly polls in 2008, Rajya Sabha
polls in 2009 had concealed this crucial
piece of information.
A quick review of previous affidavits submitted by Azad at the time of filing the
nomination papers clearly revealed that
Azad had deliberately hidden property
details despite announcing details of
assets on an affidavit.
According to the details provided in the
affidavit Azad on Tuesday also declared
that in 1994 the total cost of the 2.5 acres
of agricultural land was 1,39,500 while the
current market value of the land is 70 lakhs
(approximately).
Azad's family has movable

ITENDRA SINGH, who is contesting election on BJP
ticket from Udhampur Parliamentary seat, declares
Movable assets of 88,22,723 and spouse having
65,42,209 while he is having Immovable asset of Rs 2.31
crores.
As far as cash in hand is concerned, Jitendra Singh
held cash amounting to Rs 55000 as against spouse
holding Rs 35000 of cash.
As far as vehicles were concerned, Jitendra Singh
owns 2007 model Maruti SX4 valued at Rs 8 lakh while
his spouse owns Aveo model 2010 valued at 7 lakhs, as
per the affidavit.
