NATIONAL ANTHEM
The Star Spangled Banner will be performed by the Jacksonville Children ’ s Chorus ( JCC ). Founded in 1995 at Jacksonville University to fill a need for a children ’ s music program in the area , the JCC began with only 16 voices . Since then , the JCC has grown to serve 850 singers — ages five to 18 — in year-long choirs and outreach programs .
2,000 Airmen who are also valued members of our community .
WE ARE JAGUARS !
We are expanding our newest game day tradition this season with the use of the “ WE ARE JAGUARS ” crowd banners in the North End Zone for every home game . Fans in sections 122-124 should be sure to be in your seats by 12:45 p . m . to cheer the team onto the field .
Early in its history , the JCC faced challenges as a small arts organization with little financial support or visibility in the community . To ensure diversity among its members , and with generous support from the Jacksonville Jaguars Foundation , the JCC established a scholarship program in 1998 , which provides financial assistance to families who cannot afford tuition . This year about 35 % of the JCC ’ s singers will receive either partial or full tuition scholarships .
The JCC ’ s singers have performed in Canada , Copenhagen , Estonia , Finland , Germany , Greece , Ireland , Italy , New York City , Russia , Stockholm , Sweden , and the Vatican in Rome . The JCC is recognized as one of the leading children ’ s choirs in North America . Discover more about the JCC ’ s programs , upcoming events , and scholarships at JaxChildrensChorus . org .
