NATIONAL ANTHEM
The Star Spangled Banner will be performed by the Jaguars ’ own Meredith da Silva . This is her first season with the Jags as your Manager of Member Relationships . After graduating from the University of Oklahoma with a BFA in Musical Theater Performance , she moved straight to New York City . Meredith has performed both regionally and internationally , in roles such as Kim MacAfee ( Bye Bye Birdie ), Dot ( Sunday in the Park …) and Jo March ( Little Women ). She eventually found her way into the luxury cruise industry , first as a lead vocalist and then as a cruise director . Through her love of travel , people , service and performing she found her way to Jacksonville – the first town her Navy father was stationed .
On hand to interpret the national anthem for the hearing impaired are two students from the Florida School for the Deaf and Blind located in St . Augustine , Florida .
The colors will be presented the 125th Fighter Wing of the United States Air Force with the American Field Flags being held by Jaguars Season Ticket Holders .
The flyover after today ’ s national anthem is conducted by United States Customs and Border Protection . United States Customs and Border Protection ’ s Air and Marine Operations interdicts unlawful people and cargo approaching U . S . borders , investigates criminal networks , provides domain awareness in the air and maritime environments , and responds to contingencies and national tasking .
National Air Security Operations Center - Jacksonville operates 3 P-3 Airborne Early Warning and 4 P-3 Long Range Tracker aircraft , capable of performing a wide variety of operational missions , especially those that require long station time overhead , hemispheric range , and missions throughout all weather and environmental conditions . The versatile P-3 also serves as a force multiplier in joint operations with local , state , and federal partners for National Special Security Events and consequence management efforts .
During Fiscal Year 2016 , Air and Marine Operations aircrews directly contributed to 194 seizure , disruption , or interdiction incidents in the transit zone , resulting in the interdiction of over 197,677 pounds of cocaine .

We are expanding our newest game day tradition to every home game this season with the use of the “ WE ARE JAGUARS ” crowd banners in the North End Zone for every home game . Fans in sections 122-124 should be sure to be in your seats by 12:45 p . m . to cheer the team onto the field .
HALFTIME
During halftime the Jacksonville Jaguars will honor former wide receiver Jimmy Smith with induction into the Pride of the Jaguars . In becoming the newest Pride inductee , Smith will join OT Tony Boselli , who was inducted in 2006 , former owners Wayne and Delores Weaver ( 2012 ), RB Fred Taylor ( 2012 ), and QB Mark Brunell ( 2013 ).
Air and Marine Operations employs long range maritime patrol aircraft to conduct aerial patrols and surveillance missions along the U . S . borders and in drug transit zones in Central and South America . P-3 aircrews detect , monitor , and disrupt smuggling activities before they reach shore .
