As one nation, we have a responsibility
to look out for our neighbors, and I am
proud of the Jaguars organization’s
commitment to our community.
I want to first thank our men and women in the military
for protecting the freedom we have in our nation today.
We owe a great debt to our veterans who have served
and to our active military, as well as to their families
who also make a great sacrifice.
We have seen time and time again that when faced with
adversity, neighbors come together to love and support one another in incredible ways. Through adversity
comes strength.

Certainly the tragedy that has impacted our neighbors
in Orlando breaks all of our hearts. Working together with our quarterback, Blake Bortles, who hails
from Central Florida, the Jaguars Foundation made
a commitment to support the One Orlando Fund by
contributing $100,000 and our fans also contributed
through the Foundation’s “Orlando United Campaign”
in support of the victims, their families and the first
responders. The Jaguars were joined by the NFL, Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Miami Dolphins who each also
contributed $100,000.

As you read through the Jaguars Community Report,
you will see personal stories of our players and staff
members who found strength through adversity and are
now giving back to help strengthen our community in
amazing ways. They represent the values of hard-work,
respect, passion, commitment and dedication that
define the Jaguars organization.
The Jaguars are blessed to have great fans and partners
like Florida Blue and all of our corporate community
that work together to put this city and its well-being
first. In addition to our commitment to bring excellence on the playing field, our promise to you is to
continue what the Jaguars organization has done in its
first 21 seasons: caring for our community.
That’s what neighbors do.
