If you’ve grown up at a Jewish Community Center, you’ve felt it. There is a special connection formed that may not be
realized until later in life. This rings true for Joey DeLaRosa.
Joey is the fourth generation to be involved at The Tucson J. His great grandparents were members when it was on
Plumer Avenue, his grandfather played piano and racquetball, his mom went to kindergarten, took ballet, and taught
swim lessons, and his dad played basketball at The J. Joey also spent countless days on the court.
