World Rabies Day
On September 28th of this year, the IFMSA, IVSA and GARC launched a joint initiative to engage the medics and vets of the future in rabies prevention. While this is slightly different from the World Rabies Day One Health Challenge that was released in 2014, the goals of these two campaigns are in parallel: to END RABIES TOGETHER. On the occasion of World Rabies Day 2015, GARC, the IVSA and the IFMSA invite veterinary and medical students to organise rabies prevention events in their communities. We hope to share these events with the rest of the world in an initiative to raise awareness of rabies as well as to promote the exchange of innovative ideas. The Standing Committee on One Health (SCoH) of IVSA has created a poster in order to help spread the message and increase student involvement.
