We are now looking to engage our members in the areas that we believe we all need to be aware of, grow into and be a part of - Agile and DevOps worlds. As such, the theme for the conference will be "itSMFnz17: CALMing Influences" which allows speakers to present on the integration of ITSM and the DevOps ideas of Culture, Automation, Lean thinking, Measurement and Sharing (CALMS). Now, that does not mean that we are not discussing our usual ITSM subjects that so many attendees get value from, but we are expanding the scope to include colleagues from outside of our usual ITSM world. So far we have confirmed the following, but we are looking for many more speakers:  Jayne Groll, the CEO of the DevOps Institute, President of ITSM Academy and author of The Agile Service Management Guide  Stuart Rance, co-author (with Karen Ferris and others) of the ITIL Practitioner Guidance book as well as author of Resilia, Axelos' Cyber Security offering,  Karen Ferris of Macanta Consulting and regular speaker at many conferences globally  Rob England, aka The IT Skeptic and DevOps advocate  Phyllis Drucker of itSMF USA and author of Service Management Online: Creating a Successful Service Request Catalogue If you would like to speak at the conference next year to share your thoughts on any subject related to the Service Management world or how Service Management interacts with Agile or DevOps environments, details on how to submit can be found on the website at www.itsmf.org.nz/conference .
