Regular exercise is extremely important. Exercise pumps up
your endorphins which is your brain’s feel-good neurotransmitters.
Find what works for you whether it is yoga, Tai Chi, aerobics,
walking, jogging or going to a gym, regularly. Many people find it
helpful to have a partner to exercise with to keep them motivated.
Eat a healthy balanced diet filled with organic and/or local
harvest foods. Make sure you have plenty of bright-colored fruits
and vegetables that contain important nutrients and antioxidants
that not only help to improve your mood but will help your body fight
against any disease.
Stay away from processed refined sugar. It can cause you to
become wired and panicky because it releases too quickly into our
body and alters our blood sugar levels.
Avoid too much caffeine and energy drinks. These stimulants
keep the body from relaxing and caffeine stays in the body for six
hours before it starts to deplete. It triggers the release of the stress
hormone, cortisol known as the fight or flight hormone that produces
more stress.
