he Italian-American Society of
Jefferson recently held its 37th
Annual West Bank Italian Open Golf
Tournament. The event took place on
Sunday, April 8, at the Timberlane
Country Club in Gretna. Wayne Noc-
ito, founding member and chairman
of the Open, said it began as a simple
fundraiser to help IASJ raise money
