I once heard that sex is a reflection of the kind of
love you share with your man—sloppy, intimate,
or cautious, it all stems from that vessel. But in
modern times sex seems to have nothing to do
with love. On the contrary, it supports an idea
that love can exist separately.
I have no issue with casual sex or FWBs or drunk

hookups. Sometimes you need someone to un-
leash your urges on with no worry of attachment,
but this type of etiquette needs to stay where it
belongs: to the guys you know aren’t worth it.
The trouble with gay dating today is that we’ve
grown accustomed to the structure of sex with-
out love. Most guys are able to wean themselves
out of it but sadly many forget how.
