August and September proved busy months for both
the Shanklin and Brading rooms, with the Cowes Week
Specialist sale held in Cowes during Cowes week
proving as popular as ever.
The internet bidders came out in strength at Cowes with
over 300 registered to bid live on the day, and a sell rate
of over 25% to the international online bidders.
The packing department went into meltdown as over
60 lots had to be carefully packed and shipped after the
sale to Russia, China, America and Europe. The key to
building up happy buying clientel says Warren Riches, is
to make the process as painless as possible.

or actually attending if we can offer comprehensive
condition reports, multiple methods of bidding and a fi rst
class postage service it makes repeat business very
likely.
