Local scene a champagne reception to the sounds of the NHS Nightingales Choir, followed by a two-course dinner to the sounds of Claydon Connor, and then danced the night away with live music from two Island bands, Switch and The Mix. Proceeds from the evening will be split between The Wight Brainy Bunch - which was set up by serving Ryde firefighter Mark and his wife Kathryn following his brain tumour diagnosis in 2015 – Smile4Wessex, who provide acute and specialist care, the Brain Tumour Charity and the Fire-fighters Charity. The event was generously sponsored by Reynolds & Read, Merry & Co and Novum Law, enabling as much money as possible to reach the chosen charities.
