EQUESTRIAN
H
orse euthanasia is a difficult
subject that all horse owners
will probably have to deal
with at some stage. But there
is help at hand with Jervis Court Equine.
Jervis Court is a private family business
established over 100 years ago, and their
main premises are located in Swanmore,
Hampshire. They cover the South and
East of the UK and also provide a full
time service, including 24 hour call-out
on the Isle of Wight.
Jervis Court offer a practical yet
sympathetic service, treating your horse
with the dignity and respect it deserves,
which is so important at such a traumatic
time. They operate seven days a week,
and offer a range of methods as to the
disposal. They work closely with all the
Island’s equine veterinary practices, and
are always happy to discuss the options
with their clients.
One of the options is horse cremation.
Jervis Court has its own equine
crematorium at Jervis Court Farm, and
an ‘ashes back’ service is available, with
no third parties involved.
They'll provide a much-needed and
necessary fallen stock service for Island
farmers and small-holders, picking up
everything from chickens to cows and
dogs to dolphins - in fact all creatures
great and small!
Barry and Jason, at Jervis Court, have
a wide experience in this field of work,
having been involved for many years.
Both are licensed with DEFRA and
are well known in the Island farming
and equestrian communities. They
offer expert advice and a professional,
humane service.
At their main yard they also have post
mortem facilities available to vets for all
farm animals and horses.
