OUT & ABOUT Sweet success Hundreds of visitors enjoyed the fifth annual Sweetcorn Fayre, which was held at Arreton Barns and raised around £7,000 for the Earl Mountbatten Hospice. Sweetcorn was very much on the Fayre menu, with chefs from the local Dairyman’s Daughter pub making a sweetcorn fritter in a pan of 4ft in diameter. But there were also plenty of other attractions, including more than 30 stalls, stands and activities. 24 www.visitislandlife.com
