FAUX FEST FUN
Some of Europe’s finest tribute
acts thrilled thousands of revellers
at this year’s FauxFest, held at the
IW Donkey Sanctuary.
Ben as Michal Jackson and the
world renowned Bootleg Beatles
were among the top acts who
sang their way through a host of
favourites songs, warming the
crowds despite the indifferent
weather. Other acts included
tributes to Stevie Wonder, Barry
White, Elton John, Tina Turner,
The Drifters, Beyonce, Take That
and Madonna.

£15,000 for the IW Sanctuary, to
the delight of organiser Cherryl
Clarke, who founded the charity
25 years ago with her former
husband, Charlie Clarke. Cherryl
said: “It was truly amazing .
Everyone said they had a fabulous
time.”
She added: “FauxFest is a
really important event for the
IW Donkey Sanctuary, not just
because it’s our biggest fundraiser
but also because it raises the
profile of the charity and the
work we do here.”
