Shantymen performing throughout
the day alongside JC and Angelina
who will also be playing some popular
maritime classics. A sailor’s hornpipe
will be danced and there will be plenty
of opportunities and encouragement
to join in with singing and dancing as
the day progresses!
Traditional grog rations and a
themed menu will be available
alongside all the usual hearty
home-cooked pub favourites. A
week-long Trafalgar Real Ale Festival
will also ensure that no one will go
thirsty.
The celebrations start from 12pm
and high tide at Newport Quay will be
around 4pm so the Little Brigs will be
sailing up to the Bargeman’s at 3pm.
After the mock battle both of the brigs
will be available to take children on
board especially if they are interested
in joining the Island's sea cadets.

Royal Navy fleet in Portsmouth for
hundreds of years and this is our way
of saluting this historic association.

Trafalgar celebrations start from 12
noon and will go on until around 6pm on
Sunday October 21.

on the Isle of Wight at TS Osborne in
Cowes and TS Royal George in Ryde.
