Now transformed to a Medi-Spa, Red House is also offering non-surgical beauty enhancements, such as Botox® and injectable fillers, that more and more people are demanding. And all under the experienced eye of aesthetician Lisa Noble. “It’s about enhancing what you have – not about changing you,” explains Lisa. “By making the most of what you have we can give you a massive confidence boost that affects everything you do.” So on offer will be skin peels, custom blended peels as well as a full range of injectable treatments. Thanks, too, to Lisa’s experience with lasers – she is the only practicing aesthetician on the Island to hold a specific qualification for lasers and aesthetics – she is able to remove tattoos, as well as unwanted hair and thread veins, correct skin pigmentation and vastly improve acne. “Cosmetic dentist Jacques Gautier is on board, who offers unrivalled treatments in teeth whitening and a full range of cosmetic treatments,” Lisa adds. “His wife Rebecca does some of our injectable treatments. It’s lovely for our clients because it’s all under one roof.” Now with a team of practitioners around her Lisa will also be able to build up her complementary but more intimate practice in Yarmouth. More about that in a future Issue. For the moment we are here at Red House watching visiting aesthetic nurse Vivien demonstrate that having Botox is not the scary procedure some may imagine. A full consultation begins, in which the client is asked to make various facial expressions, allowing the practitioner to decide which muscles should be treated. The face is marked out accordingly and Botox skilfully injected under the upper dermis to freeze the line-forming muscle. “Botox and filler have become an accepted part of what we can offer to make the most of people’s looks. Our vision is to provide natural looking results that help our clients look good for their age.” For the full range of treatments available, contact Red House Spa, 97 High Street, Newport, PO30 1BQ.
