place on Sunday November 16th .

TICKETS FOR 2008
Last years F&D awards were a huge success. This year we are holding
the event for 350 guests at Havenstreet Steam Railway. Tickets this
year will sell-out quickly so please book your space/table now for the
Island's most spectacular and glitzy event. To avoid disappointment
please call 01983 402599 to reserve your tickets. Single tickets
£58.75 + VAT or VIP tickets £100 + VAT. Tables of ten or twelve.
Running order:
The 2008 event will be held at Havenstreet Steam Railway in a
traditional Marquee supplied by Grays Marquees. The food will once
again be prepared and served by David Rogers (All About Catering).
The evening will run as follows:
4.30pm - 7pm: Arrive to a glass of Sparkling wine, or an exciting
cocktail provided by Wight Vodka.
7pm: Dinner will be served and will consist of 3 courses plus coffee.

venture The Real Island Food
Company. One year on and
this home delivery online shop,
specialising in food from the
Island, has become a firm friend
to customers and food producers
alike.
Jackie says: "Both of us are
passionate about cooking and
eating good food, so it’s been
a real joy to work so closely
with our local farmers,
butchers and fishermen
(not to mention the
bakers, brewers and bee
keepers!). It’s been a
fantastic year. We also
get a lot of feedback
from customers.
Comments such as
"the pork we had last
week was the best we
have ever had" are not
uncommon and they
give us the incentive
to take the business
forward.
Our objective is to be a
one stop shop for local
food, where the stop is
the comfort of your own home!
We have lamb and beef from
Shorwell, chicken from Godshill,
bread baked in Ryde, tomatoes
from Arreton and Ventnor Bay
crab. And that’s a very small
selection from the range.
We’re growing all the time
and now have two chiller vans
making deliveries Island wide,
