company
We all hate
cleaning
ovens!
OvenU on the Isle
of Wight is a trading
standards “ buy with
confidence
business”
owned and run by 32 year
old Neil Honour, he has
been scrubbing many a
grubby oven for just over
two years.
Neil’s
Franchise
hopes
to
save
householders
the
expense
of
replacing
their
oven well before its time is up.
OvenU’s technique for cleaning your
dirty ovens is to strip them down to
virtually an empty shell then each
part is cleaned using their specially
designed non caustic chemicals.
Thus achieving the sort of clean that
the average householder could only
imagine. This service is completely
mobile with no mess, no fuss
and has full Islandwide coverage.
Neil not only cleans domestic
ovens, hobs, hoods and microwaves
but can and does clean commercial
appliances used at pubs, clubs,
restaurants, hotels and even
yacht and boat ovens. With
appointments lasting between 2 - 4
hours and prices starting from as
low as £20 you too can have that
gleaming oven without even lifting
a finger except to make that phone
call!

Vectis Tile and Stone Ltd have just
celebrated their first birthday and
owners Alan and Kate Macdougall
couldn’t be happier. The first year
has been a most exciting one
explains Alan’s father-in-law, who
brings a wealth of sales experience
to the team having spent 40 years in
marketing.
Alan draws on 20 years of
professional tiling experience and
offers his expertise and guidance on
all tiling requirements. The spacious
showroom and relaxed manner have
brought an ever-increasing volume
of visitor to view and discuss their
tiling needs.
New ranges of tiles are constantly
being
added to the already
extensive range on show. As
members of the Tile Association
and the Isle of Wight Chamber of
Commerce, it seemed fitting when
the business was awarded a contract
to supply tiles and tiling material for
the Orchard Private Hospital’s new
developments.
There are thousands of options
sourced from all over the world, to
suit all tastes, from ultra-modern
to stylish traditional stone. There
are easy-maintenance ceramics,
rustic terracotta, elegant porcelain,
glass, marble, stone mosaics and
much more. The showroom makes
it easy to visualise thanks to the
excellent room sets offering many
different designs, shapes, colours
and textures. Alan’s knowledge
and skills have influenced the
quality and range offered, meaning
that the company is able to advise
all customers from trade to DIY
and provide a complete service,
including installation.
