Thousands of scooter enthusiasts converged
on the Island over the August bank
holiday weekend to make the annual IW
International Scooter Rally one of the biggest
yet.
Smallbrook Stadium was a mass of tents
and vans and on the Friday and Saturday,
Ryde’s ice arena played host to late night
parties featuring sounds from the 60s and
the scooterists’ favourite Northern Soul. On
Sunday, revellers moved on to the Balcony
night club.
