Local Menu
The most important thing in this category is
that the menu communicates the flavours
of the Isle of Wight. It should incorporate
local food and drink and celebrate a real
sense of localness. The menu should
include a statement of the establishment’s
commitment to using local produce and why
this is important to them. The menu should
include details of suppliers, the origin of key
ingredients and may well include recognition
of the seasonality of some locally sourced
products, such as fruit and vegetables.
