A steaming good show
Thousands of visitors turned out
over the four action-packed days
of this year’s Island Steam Show at
Havenstreet.
The 32nd show, held over the Bank
Holiday weekend, included the
usual rides on the steam railway,
as well as attractions for all the
family, from motor cycle displays
and sheep dog trials to traditional
Morris dancing, tug-of-war and
clowns.
Of course the real stars of the
show were the steam engines
themselves, and the event’s final
flourish was a huge engine parade.
