Carnival
spectacular
in Sandown
Taking over Sandown early this May
was Hullabaloo, a free community
event. Hullabaloo is an arts, discovery
and exploration event featuring an
unusual combination of the arts, natural
sciences & heritage, together with the
madcap antics of carnival traditions.
The Esplanade was lined with excited spectators as
the soapbox derby launched all manner of weird
and wonderful vehicles down the road. A carnival
parade, live music, kite making and trying local
foods and crafts were just some of the activities
taking place at this eclectic extravaganza.
The Hullabaloo works in collaboration
with local business and organisations
to bring life to this unique event.
