OUT & ABOUT
Wight night Wurzels
go down a storm!
W
est Country favourites The
Wurzels attracted a sell-out
crowd of around 500 to Brickfields
in June.
The veteran ‘Zider’ drinkers
proved they still know how to
party, and their stomping good
show helped raise over £5,000
for two rural organisations - the
Royal Agricultural Benevolent
Institution (R.A.B.I) and
The Leverets (Isle of Wight Foot
Beagles Supporters Club).
R.A.B.I spokesperson Sally Field
said that with many people in the
farming world facing tough times,
the fundraiser was a chance to
do something positive for them
whilst having fun.
Naomi Bellamy, Chairman of
the Leverets added: “We’d like
to thank Kieron and Paul Read
from Reynolds & Read for the use
of Brickfields and everyone who
contributed to such a memorable
night!”
