housands of music fans piled on to ferries
to enjoy a weekend of music at the Isle
of Wight Festival which was headlined by
The Who and Queen among others. The first
major festival of the summer, the IW Festival is
celebrating its 15th anniversary since the event
was relaunched.
Providing an unforgettable ending to the
festival, Queen, featuring Adam Lambert,
captivated their audience, with a classic Queen
line-up of great songs.
Among the other bands taking to the stage
included Faithless, Stereophonics, Richard
Ashcroft, Iggy Pop, Everything Everything and
Jess Glynne.
Revellers both local, and from across the
globe, enjoyed the fantastic line-up of acts over
the four days, as well as the electric atmosphere.
