Michelangelo
festive treats
The Isle of Wight Festival of the Sea will
take place across the Island between June 16
and 23, and Michelangelo Italian Restaurant
in Ryde will join in the celebrations.
During the Festival there will be a wide
range of activities, events and promotions
taking place – all revolving around the
theme of the sea. Michelangelo will be
offering a variety of special dishes inspired
by the sea, including locally-caught fish,
special sea foods and even sea weed inspired
meals. The restaurant is located at the west
end of Ryde seafront, and has a homely,
relaxed, truly Italian atmosphere.
Botanic Garden birthday bash
Ventnor Botanic Garden will be
celebrating its 42nd birthday
on Saturday, June 21 and would
like everyone across the Island to
celebrate it with them.
VBG will be giving away a free
slice of cake to all those visiting the
Garden on that date, so visitors can
spend the day in the Garden, enjoy
the beautiful surroundings and
enjoy a slice of birthday cake.
Ventnor Botanic Garden is open
from 10am, with the last Garden
entry at 4.55pm throughout the
summer months, April to September.
Admission fees apply for all those
visiting the Garden. Car Parking
is free for all visitors accessing
the facilities at VBG. For more
