Take a stroll around the farm
It’s time for find your wells and get
along to Briddlesford Farm! Welly
Wednesdays take place from 2pm
until 4pm, with adults £5 and
children over 3 years £2.50.
Those taking part have a detailed
tour of the farm and an opportunity
to meet and touch the baby calves,
heifers, milking herd, Boxer the
Aberdeen Angus bull, and the veal
calves. Children, and grown-ups
who want to, can sit in the tractors
ranging from the 50 year old Massey
Ferguson, still used daily to scrape
the yards, to the latest New Holland
tractor. Watching the cows being
milked is the highlight of the visit
and is followed by a chance to
sample some creamy Buttercup
milk, pasteurised and bottled here
on the farm.
Everyone leaves with an
information booklet and stickers.
and there is the opportunity for
visitors to incorporate the trip with a
visit to the farm shop or even lunch
in Bluebells Café.
