COUNTRY LIFE Teenagers hit heights! Teenagers Ben Morris and Harvey Fitch stole the individual honours at the New Barn charity clay pigeon shoot, courtesy of the Spence family of Calbourne. The event raised around £3,500 for Macmillan Nurses. Ben won with 67 and Harvey was runner-up on 65. Rowborough were the top syndicate team with 254 points, while ‘Harvey and the Codgers’ took the team honours with 235. Julia Ford and Sue Kershaw tied for first place in the ladies’ event, with Gerry Short emerging as the top veteran. The organisers wished to thank all the sponsors and competitors for their support in what it is hoped will become an annual event.
