Dell Cafe offers fine food
- and stunning views
If it’s a beach side setting you
are after the family-run Dell
Cafe in Ryde is the place to go.
This lovely cosmopolitan cafe,
located on the shore, has a relaxed
ambience to enjoy stunning views
of the Solent and Portsmouth
across Appley Sands.
You can eat outside on the
terrace, or inside behind large
French doors so as not to miss
the views but to avoid changeable

Launch of ice
cream company
The Isle of Wight Ice Cream Company
has introduced a variety of brand new and
delicious ice creams.
This newly created product has been
delivered to over 40 establishments across
the Island. It is the brainchild of Caroline Ross
and John Kennedy from Medina Foodservice
with the partners being Caroline and Steve
Ross and Louise Hart and Jenny Simmons
from Three Gates Farm, and already sales are
significantly higher than anticipated.
There are initially 12 flavours, all named
after Island towns – Bembridge Bubblegum,
Carisbrooke Chocolate, Cowes Coffee,
Freshwater Fudge, Godshill Gingerbread,
Havenstreet Honeycomb, Mottistone Mint
Choc Chip, Rookley Raspberry Pavlova, Ryde
Rum & Raisin, Shanklin Strawberry, Totland
Toffee and Ventnor Vanilla!
The ice cream is made with Isle of Wight
milk and cream from happy cows at nearby
Three Gates Farm meaning food miles never
exceed five miles.
